Spandrel Technologies LLC ("Spandrel," "we," "us," or "our") provides construction finance, payment coordination, document workflow, lien waiver, e-signature, vendor portal, project cost management, and accounting integration software for commercial general contractors and related construction businesses.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, store, and protect information when general contractors, subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, employees, authorized users, signers, and other users access or use Spandrel.
By using Spandrel, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy.
We may collect the following categories of information:
Spandrel may collect and store limited payment-related metadata, including payment status, transaction identifiers, vendor payment preferences, Moov account IDs, bank account last four digits, payment rail availability, and payment audit history.
Spandrel does not intend to store full bank account numbers, full routing numbers, or sensitive payment credentials where those details are collected directly by payment processors such as Moov.
If you connect QuickBooks Online or other accounting systems, we may collect, process, and sync customers, vendors, bills, invoices, payments, products/services, cost codes, chart of account mappings, and other accounting data authorized by the connected integration.
Users may upload or generate documents including bills, invoices, contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, change orders, lien waivers, compliance documents, certificates of insurance, W-9s, supporting attachments, and signature records.
For electronic signatures and document execution, we may collect signer name, email address, signature and initials, date and time stamps, IP address, browser/device information, consent records, authentication records, document version history, and event logs showing views, approvals, signatures, downloads, and completion.
Spandrel may use AI-assisted tools to extract information from uploaded documents such as bills, invoices, certificates of insurance, W-9s, and other construction documents. Users are responsible for reviewing AI-generated or AI-extracted information before relying on it.
Company administrators and authorized users may access information based on permissions set within Spandrel.
Information may be shared with vendors, subcontractors, suppliers, or other project participants as needed for payment setup, lien waivers, contracts, change orders, compliance documents, e-signatures, and vendor portal workflows.
We may share information with third-party service providers that help us operate Spandrel, including cloud hosting, authentication, database, payment processors, accounting integrations, email delivery, analytics, AI/document extraction, file storage, and customer support tools.
Payment and banking workflows may be provided through Moov or other payment processors. These providers may collect information directly from users under their own terms and privacy policies.
When you connect QuickBooks Online or other integrations, information may be exchanged with those services based on your authorization.
We may disclose information to comply with law, respond to legal process, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or security incidents, enforce agreements, or support audits and regulatory obligations.
If Spandrel is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
We may use cookies, session storage, local storage, and similar technologies to keep users signed in, remember preferences, secure sessions, understand usage, improve performance, and detect fraud. Users may adjust browser settings to limit cookies, but some features may not function properly.
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide Spandrel, maintain account records, support project and payment records, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security logs. Construction, payment, lien waiver, and e-signature records may be retained for extended periods because they may relate to legal rights, project disputes, payment obligations, or tax compliance.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including access controls, authentication, encryption, audit logs, and monitoring. No system is completely secure. Users are responsible for maintaining secure passwords, controlling user access, promptly removing former employees, and notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
